In the residential leasing market in Spain, the regulations have undergone a significant evolution over time. From its beginnings in the 1980s to the present day, different laws and reforms have shaped the rights and obligations of landlords and tenants. In this article, we review the changes in the regulations and their effects on leasing contracts up to the present day.
